Born in Montréal Québec, Patrick Béland has been implicated in all aspects of website creation since 2002. Be it as a freelancer or in an agency, Patrick has designed, integrated, animated, programmed and managed teams in order to develop Flash and HTML websites of all kinds.
Patrick has a natural sense for what works well when thinking of the user experience all the while respecting the needs and vision of the client. Aesthetically, Patrick enjoys creating worlds and telling stories with his websites while aiming to keep things simple and concise for the user.
Patrick Béland has 2 degrees in Production of Multimedia Applications and in Online 2D/3D Animation and Interactivity. He comes from an artistic background as being a muralist and artist, and has recently worked in the field of video compositing, a field he believes the web will see more and more of in the future.
As a freelancer, I take it one project at a time, picking and choosing carefully to ensure that all projects get the attention they deserve. I put myself in a position where I may do the work myself or outsource various aspects of a project in order to manage a team of specialists if the project requires it.
